The BLIZZAK WS-50 winter tire features an exclusive TUBE MULTICELL® compound developed by Bridgestone to deliver snow and ice performance without studs! And with the addition of UNI-T technology, the BLIZZAK WS-50 helps drivers of imported and domestic sedans, coupes, and sports cars meet the challenge of adverse winter conditions.
Innovative Tire Design - A Comprehensive Tire Design Method. Innovative Roundness - Rounder is Better. Innovative Compound - Longer is Stronger. Tube Multicell compound. Winter tread compound. Zig-zag sipes/spiral wrap. Severe Snow Performance. This method improves handling in wet or dry conditions and reduces irregular treadwear by combining an ideal tread design, casing shape, materials and construction. Rounder overall tire shape provides better balance for wet or dry handling. LL Carbon utilizes a special form of molecular re-engineered carbon black, a key factor in improving tire wear while enhancing wet performance. Better grip on the ice.
